Who is responsible for your information
Physioize is operated by Wanda Mhobo ("Physioize", "we", "us"), who is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can reach us through the enquiry form on this website for any privacy question, access, correction or deletion request.
What we collect
Enquiry and application forms: your name, email address, province, current stage, membership interest, the support you need, an optional phone number, and your separate enquiry and marketing consents. Access-support applications are stored separately and privately.
Member accounts: sign-in credentials, your profile (name, province and learning preference, each optional to share), learning progress, clinic questions, milestone submissions, private feedback and in-app notifications.
Technical information: basic device and usage information needed to keep the service secure and working, such as your IP address and browser type.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your information to: create and manage your account and provide the learning service (performance of our agreement with you); respond to enquiries and provide support (legitimate interest); keep the service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest); meet legal and tax obligations (legal obligation); and send marketing updates only where you have separately agreed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with: our service providers who host and operate the platform (cloud hosting, database and file storage) under access restrictions; Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes payments, manages subscriptions, handles tax compliance and invoicing when you make a purchase (Paddle acts as an independent controller for payment processing); professional advisers where needed; and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Who can see your details inside Physioize
Your profile is private by default. You can independently choose to share your name, province or learning preference with other active members; hidden fields are not shown in the member directory. Email addresses and enquiries are never shared there. Administrators can review member profiles, enquiries and applications to operate the service. Assigned mentors can see only the milestone work assigned to them — not payment administration or unrelated member submissions.
How we protect it
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, role-based access controls, row-level access rules in the database, private file storage with short-lived authorised links for learning materials, and rate limiting on forms. No card details are stored by Physioize; payment details are handled by Paddle.
How long we keep it
We keep account and learning records while your membership is active and for up to 24 months afterwards so you can return without losing progress, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Enquiry and application records are kept for up to 12 months. Records we must keep for tax or legal reasons (for example invoices) are kept for the period the law requires. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can review, update, export and clear your optional profile details in My profile, and turn each sharing choice on or off. You also have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us through the enquiry form and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
International transfers
Some of our service providers process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections required by applicable data-protection law.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; essential cookies are required for sign-in to work.

Patient records, third-party personal information or confidential employer material must never be uploaded to Physioize. Remove third-party personal information from any work you submit.
